Sprint has launched the Samsung IP-30w which is dual-mode handset based off the Samsung i730. The handset uses the Sprint CDMA/EVDO networks in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and roams on CDMA and/or GSM networks (voice) and GPRS networks (data) outside of North America. It features a GSM radio instead of WiFi to allow for worldwide roaming. Verizon Wireless recently launched the same handset as the Samsung i830.
